On 15 May 2017, Lorraine Frantz Edwards attempted to trace the ancestry of Alfred A. Frantz (on but could not find the parents of William Frantz/France born in Pennsylvania in 1813. This was an interesting trip into a unique family history.

Newspaper clipping dated 1983 regarding a Frantz reunion.  From personal knowledge, Lorraine Frantz Edwards suspects it was a reunion of descendants of Mathias Frantz, a descendant of Immigrant Christian Frantz. Alfred said “It’s not my branch of the tribe, but I wish it were.”
